  1. CADRE 1.02 SHAREWARE

  3. Shareware distribution gives users a chance to try CADRE 1.02
  4. before buying it. If you try CADRE 1.02 and continue using it,
  5. you are expected to register. With registration, you get the
  6. right to continue using it, an updated program, printed manual,
  7. help from the authors.

  9. Copyright laws apply to both Shareware and commercial software,
  10. and the copyright holder retains all rights, with a few specific
  11. exceptions as stated below. Shareware authors are accomplished
  12. programmers, just like commercial authors, and the programs are
  13. of comparable quality. (In both cases, there are good programs
  14. and bad ones!) The main difference is in the method of
  15. distribution.

  18. should find software that suits your needs and pocketbook,
  19. whether it's commercial or Shareware. The Shareware system makes
  20. fitting your needs easier, because you can try before you buy.

  22. has the ultimate money-back guarantee -- if you don't use the
  23. product, you don't pay for it.

  27. Users of CADRE(TM) must accept this disclaimer of warranty:
  28. CADRE 1.02 is supplied as is.  The author disclaims all warranties, 
  29. expressed or implied, including, without limitation,the 
  30. warranties of merchantability and of fitness for any purpose.
  31. CADRE Analytic and the authors assume no liability for damages,
  32. direct or consequential, which may result from the use of CADRE 1.02.

  34. CADRE 1.02 is a program distributed as shareware at no charge
  35. to the user for evaluation only.  Feel free to share it with your
  36. friends, but please do not give it away altered or as part of
  37. another system.  The essence of "user-supported" software is to
  38. provide personal computer users with quality software without
  39. high prices, and yet to provide incentive for programmers to
  40. continue to develop new products.  If you find this program
  41. useful and find that you are using CADRE 1.02 and continue to use
  42. CADRE 1.02 after a reasonable trial period, you must make a reg-
  43. istration payment of $62.00 + $5.00 handling to CADRE Analytic.

  46. REGISTRATION LICENSE

  48. The $62.00 registration fee will license one copy for use on any 
  49. one computer at any one time.  You must treat this software just 
  50. like a book.  An example is that this software may be used by any
  51. number of people and may be freely moved from one computer
  52. location to another, so long as there is no possibility of it
  53. being used at one location while it's being used at another.
  54. Just as a book cannot be read by two different persons at the
  55. same time.

  57. Commercial users of CADRE 1.02 must register and pay for their
  58. copies of CADRE 1.02 within 30 days of first use or their license
  59. is withdrawn.  Site-License arrangements may be made by con-
  60. tacting CADRE Analytic.

  62. Anyone distributing CADRE 1.02 for any kind of remuneration must
  63. first contact CADRE Analytic at the address below for authorization.
  64. This authorization will be automatically granted to distributors
  65. recognized by the Association of Shareware Professionals (ASP)
  66. as adhering to its guidelines for shareware distributors, and such
  67. distributors may begin offering CADRE 1.02 immediately (However CADRE
  68. Analytic must still be advised so that the distributor can be kept
  69. up-to-date with the latest version of CADRE 1.02.

  74. licensed registered version) of CADRE 1.02 along to your friends for
  75. evaluation. Please encourage them to register if they find that they

  77. registered version of the CADRE 1.02 finite element analysis system
  78. and supporting documentation.
